What is it

ZIP Extract runs document, audio, or archive conversion work that is difficult to complete entirely in the browser. This MVP uses a managed-provider adapter with a mock provider and assumes originals are not retained after processing while results expire within 24 hours.

FAQ

Is the ZIP Extract file sent to a server?

Yes. This tool needs server conversion, so the file is uploaded to /api. Do not upload sensitive files.

What is the retention policy?

The default policy is not to retain originals after processing and to expire results within 24 hours. When a real external provider is connected, its policy must also be disclosed.

Is a real conversion provider connected now?

This MVP implements the provider interface and a mock managed provider. A real provider such as CloudConvert or iLoveAPI can be connected after API key and cost approval.
