Workday Countdown — Business Days Until a Target
Date & TimeA workday countdown counts weekdays from today to a target date and subtracts holidays entered by the user.
What is it
A D-day count shows calendar days, but work planning often needs remaining weekdays excluding weekends and holidays. This tool uses the browser local date, counts Monday through Friday from tomorrow through the target date, and removes holiday dates you enter.
workdays = weekdays in date range − entered holidays that fall on weekdays
How to use
- 1Enter the target date.
- 2Enter excluded holidays as YYYY-MM-DD, one per line if needed.
- 3Check remaining workdays and calendar-day difference.

FAQ
Does it fetch public holidays automatically?
No. To stay offline and API-free, holidays must be entered manually.
Does it include today?
By default it counts remaining workdays after today, so today is excluded.
