QR Code Generator — Text & URL to QR

Developer

A QR code generator turns text, URLs, Wi-Fi, email, and phone values into scannable QR code images in the browser.

What is it

A QR (Quick Response) code is a 2D barcode encoding text, URLs and more in a grid pattern. Scanning it with a camera opens the content. This tool generates QR codes in the browser without sending input to a server and includes URL, Wi-Fi, email, and phone payload templates.

QR payload = selected preset template + user input

How to use

  1. 1Choose the QR content type.
  2. 2Enter the text, URL, Wi-Fi details, or contact value.
  3. 3Press generate and save the QR image.

FAQ

Does it have to be a URL?

No. Any string — plain text, phone number, Wi-Fi info — can be encoded.

Is my input stored on a server?

No. QR generation runs in the browser; input is never sent or stored.

Do generated QR codes expire?

No. The QR encodes your input directly as a static code, with no expiry or scan limits. A URL QR only stops working if the target page goes away.

Can I use the QR commercially for free?

Yes. Use the generated image freely on business cards, posters, menus, and other commercial material.
