Running Pace Calculator — Distance, Time, Pace
CalculatorA running pace calculator solves for the missing value among distance, time, and pace, and projects finish times for 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon.
What is it
Pace is the time it takes to run one kilometre (min/km), computed as time divided by distance. Enter 0 in the field you want to solve and this calculator derives it from the other two values, then projects finish times for 5K, 10K, half marathon (21.0975 km), and marathon (42.195 km) at the computed pace. Projections assume you hold the same pace for the whole distance, so real race results vary with course, weather, and condition.
How to use
- 1Enter the two values you know among distance (km), time (min), and pace (min/km).
- 2Enter 0 in the field you want to solve.
- 3Press calculate to get the missing value and projected 5K/10K/half/full times.

FAQ
What pace is 10 km in 55 minutes?
5:30/km. 55 minutes ÷ 10 km = 5.5 min/km, which projects to about 3 hours 52 minutes for a full marathon.
What are the exact half and full marathon distances?
A half marathon is 21.0975 km and a marathon is 42.195 km, as defined by World Athletics rules.
Are my times sent to a server?
No. This calculator runs entirely in your browser and does not send or store your inputs.
